All movies have to have some sort of rating. So, we rate our movies like any other major movie production. Here is our movie rating system. These ratings have been approved by the Motion Pictures Association of America.
G - General Audiences / All ages
PG - Parental Guidance Suggested / Geared for Most Ages
PG13 - No Children Under 13 / Or Parental Guidance Suggested
We will rarely or NEVER have R or NC-17 Movies unless completely necessary to give it the rating for extenuating circumstances. All movies are subject to some sort of critics, erviews or comment. Everyone does have the right to cmment and give personal opinion on a video within reason.
When a movie is rated G, it is clean and appropriate for everybody of all ages to watch. But that doesn't mean it's geared for a particular age group, it means it contains nothing that someone under the age of 6 should view.
Defining what I said above "It's not geared for a particular age group, meaning, I don't particularly make kids movies, action or horror movies which only certain people see.
If a movie is rated R, it means is may have large amount of offensive material, and should not be viewed by an audience under the age of 13. Similar to the PG13 rating, it's basically one step up in offensive material. This does NOT inlude nudity or pornographic material.
Shoreline productions does not have any "R" movies in it's listings, nor has it ever crreated a movie that is rated "R". Nor do we even have a screen created for the rating. If necessary, if a movie requieres this rating, a screen will be made and all of the proper warnings & disclaimers will be created.
